Perry Behavioral Health Choices, Inc. provides community based prevention services to residents of Perry County. The goal of our prevention program is to achieve individual and comprehensive community wellness.
Our prevention activities include:
National Red Ribbon Campaign: October 23rd-30th
After School Clubs at New Lexington, Northern Local, Crooksville, and Southern Local elementary, middle, and high schools. The After school Clubs include: Fishing Club, Advocacy Club, and ACE (Asset Concentrated Education) Club. ACE club focuses on asset building and promoting a drug-free lifestyle with the youth. We also provide asset building activities and education at ALPHA, our local alternative school.
LAFF (Learning About Feelings and Fishing) Summer Camp (offered to 8 communities throughout the summer)
T4C (Thinking for a Change) is provided to adult and juvenile groups. Group members are referred through Perry County Court and Perry County Common Pleas Court. All members must complete 25 sessions to graduate from the program.
